The Medford City Council has not yet voted on the proposed Brooks Estate bond funding. Please help by sending an e-mail to the Medford City Council at Cloaking and ask them to schedule the vote, support the Brooks Estate, etc. A list of individual City Councilors is found at http://www.medford.org/Pages/MedfordMA_Council/index. Please note that Councilor Paul Camuso and Council President Robert Maiocco have been recused and will not be voting on this matter. Thank you for your support! Spring Spruce-up at the EstateMay 11, 2013 - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Come help us on a variety of spring cleaning and other chores at the Manor and around the property. Come work for an hour or all day -- up to you! Please dress in work garb – gloves and refreshments are provided. Meet at the Manor at the end of the access drive – please walk in from Grove Street (blue sign) unless you need handicapped parking at the Manor. Please do not park in the Brooks Estate or the Oak Grove Cemetery. Students are welcome with written parental permission: M-BELT is a Community Service Learning (CSL) agency. Manor Open House at the EstateMay 11, 2013 - 2:00 to 4 p.m.Come see the Shepherd Brooks Manor and learn about your Brooks Estate. Come after you've helped on the Spring Spruce-Up or just come separately. Refreshments will be served. NOTE: If you come directly to the Brooks Estate for the Open House: It is best to walk up the access drive from the green gate on Grove Street in Medford, just beyond the black gates of the Cemetery - There are some spaces in the small lot across from the Boardwalk, along the access drive, and a few spaces up at the end of the access drive, near the Manor. Otherwise, do not park in the Brooks Estate, unless you need handicapped parking, which is available at the Manor. Do not park in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
